The Old Vicarage garden has been open to the public through the National Gardens Scheme on many occasions in recent years, for the benefit of charity (including a share to St Andrew’s Church).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We will be open for the National Gardens Scheme on Sunday 18th May 2025, from 2.00pm to 5.00 pm. <\/strong>There will be a stall with plants for sale and delicious home-made teas will be available in the adjacent 12th century church, which is itself well worth a visit. Details are in ‘The Yellow Book’ – website\u00a0http:\/\/www.ngs.org.uk<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n In 2020 we were featured in an episode of BBC ‘Gardener’s World’ which was broadcast a few days before our annual opening – and Monty Don gave our open day a plug. Wow. We laid on extra parking in a field, but still the result was a traffic jam that blocked the road through the village all afternoon.
