Woodwork has been a hobby of mine since childhood. Here are some of the things I’ve made since 1990. Click any image to enlarge it and start a ‘slide show’.
Much of the woodwork in the garden has details that follow the designs of woodwork in the house, such as this newel post in the Victorian staircase (left)
The windows follow the pattern of the Gothic arches in the adjacent church. Having made them in wood I have enormous respect for the craftsmen who made the Church windows in stone!
The garden room that I built after getting planning permission for - to quote the planning officer - "The sort of conservatory that a Victorian vicar might have built".

Doors from Garden Room into the garden.
Decorative trellis separating the Terrace from the drive. A recent addition so no summer photographs yet. Also one of the oak Oxford planters.
New gates to stop the dog getting to the hens. (They now have six cast bronze finials, not just one!)
Gates to the orchard / hen runs and the greenhouse beyond.
The original plan was for a small greenhouse, but... Made from Western Red Cedar but painted as the Victorians would have done. Cutting curved glass for the roof panes was surprisingly easy.
